Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains your cancellation rights and when refunds apply under a Kingspan Service domestic service contract. It summarises the relevant terms from our full Terms and Conditions; where there is any difference, the Terms and Conditions apply. Defined terms (such as "Company", "Buyer", "Goods") have the same meaning as in the Terms and Conditions.


Your right to cancel

You have the right to cancel your contract within 7 days of the date on which you entered into it. This right is subject to the conditions below.

On cancellation within this period we will reimburse any sum paid to us by you, or on your behalf, in relation to this contract.

Your right to cancel will be lost if:
- we do not receive your notice of cancellation in writing within 7 days; or
- we have already started to provide services in accordance with this contract before we receive your notice of cancellation.


Direct Debit customers

If you pay by Direct Debit, you must provide notice of your wish to cancel at least 7 days prior to your renewal.

You are obligated to make every Direct Debit Payment in the minimum number stated on your Service Contract. Should you fail to make a Direct Debit Payment, the remainder of those payments will become due immediately.


Cancellation after 7 days

On any cancellation after the 7 day period, the Company reserves the right to collect in full any sum due, including missed payments or remaining Direct Debit Payments.

The Company also retains the right to cancel your contract without reason, provided we give written notice of at least 14 days. (This is separate from ending a contract under the termination provisions in clause 16 of the Terms and Conditions.)


Cancelling a booked engineer visit

If you wish to cancel a planned visit, you must notify us at least 1 working day in advance of the planned visit date.

If you do not give at least 1 working day's notice, we will charge you for any expense we reasonably incur as a result.

If our engineer is unable to gain sufficient access to the premises, and you have not given at least one working day's notice to enable us to cancel or reschedule the visit, no refund will be applicable.


Refunds on quotations

If we inadvertently provide incorrect information within a quotation, we reserve the right to correct it. If the amended quotation is not agreeable to you, we will refund in full all costs you have paid.


Returned parts and packaging

Where you return goods and they are received by us in good condition, a credit will be made to the value of 75% of the amount charged for the goods. Carriage charges are non-refundable.

Any damage to, or shortfall in, parts delivered must be reported to us within 2 days of the date of delivery. If this is not reported within 2 days, we are unable to take responsibility.


Cancelling an order for goods

No order which we have accepted may be cancelled by you except with our written agreement, and on terms that any deposit paid is not repayable and that you indemnify the Company in full against all loss (including loss of profit), costs, damages, charges and expenses incurred as a result of cancellation.
